The Georgia Guidestones – An initiate’s view

Georgia Guidestones

Many have heard about the Georgia Guide-stones: a monument that stands in the heart of the Southern State of Georgia in the United States. The monument stands in Elbert County and was erected in 1979. It consists of “Five massive slabs of polished granite rise out of the earth in a star pattern.
The rocks are each 16 feet tall, with four of them weighing more than 20 tons  apiece. Together they support a 25,000-pound capstone” (Wired, 2009). On each granite slab, there is a paragraph of instructional philosophy (Click the English translation graphic to read).

Some say this monument was produced by the creators of the New World Order – a statement of a new philosophy of a new totalitarian age. Some say the Rosicrucians are behind it and that it is a work of evil: calling for the extermination guidestonesof a large part of humanity. On each side of the granite slabs are written the philosophy in the languages of English, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Hebrew, and Swahili. Upon the top horizontal slab, there is Classical Greek, Sanskrit, Egyptian Hieroglyphics, and Babylonian Cuneiform.

The most controversial part of the monument is the first statement: “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature“. Many assume this to mean the extermination of human life through a subversive elite plan. Looking at this number logically and with reason, it would seem to be a logical number considering the footprint that mankind leaves upon nature; but it does not call for extermination – it simply calls for a more balanced existence between Man and Nature. In this author’s opinion, it should be re-stated: “In the event of world-wide calamity resulting in unfortunate loss of life, maintain humanity under 500,000,000 to keep a perpetual balance with nature

guidestonesWho was behind this monument? Obviously, it was the work of someone who was versed in philosophy and secret knowledge found in Freemasonry and Rosicrucian philosophy; but probably not a specific organization. This seems to be the work of an enlightened individual or a small esoteric group. A man by the name of Robert C. Christian (notice the RC – Rosicrucian or, Rose Cross) is the man who hired the granite company to construct the monument.

“but probably not a specific organization” – especially not the Rosicrucian organization AMORC, as it does not seem to fit their style
