Patience is essential to learning the mysteries. One must learn to meditate and be silent, and to “become as a child” (Matthew 18:3, Mosiah 3:19); or in other words, hear the teaching without judgment based on one’s own beliefs. Wisdom will come only without one’s own encultured views clouding the way.
